Kettering extend a warm welcome to all walkers . Whilst our name is Kettering we have members from the surrounding towns particularly Desborough, Rothwell and Corby, as well as the smaller towns and villages of East Northants. We are a friendly group and some members travel from much further afield.
Primarily our walks are Saturday or Sunday each week and are 4 to 14 miles long, most being 6 -9 miles. Our walks tend to be in the north of the county of Northamptonshire, though we do stray over the border into Leicestershire, Rutland, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. We have at least one long week end trip to hillier parts of the country each year and forge contacts with other Ramblers from neighbouring groups.
Ramblers work to ensure footpaths are accessible to all walkers, and in doing so promote the healthy and sociable activity of walking in our area. If you are looking to join in with a group walk, we are sure you will find something in our programme of walks to suit you.
